Belgrade apartments –  you can cook tasty and healthy food in our apartments. This is  recipe for traditional Serbian bean soup.

Čorba od Pasulja - Beans soup

Integrands

– 500gr dried beans
– 500-700gr dry meet (ribs) or sausage
– 1 bay leave
– 2-3 onions, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
– 1tb paprika(red pepper)
– salt
– 2-3tb oil

Cooking

Put beans in cold water and leave them over the night. Next day rinse them in water, put in saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring the beans to a boil and then drain them. This prevents stomach bloating. Put the beans, onions, meat and bay leave in a large saucepan and cover them with fresh water. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce heat to low and leave to simmer until beans become soft, 2-3 hours. You can add a little water when necessary. Add salt at the end, because sometimes the meet is over salted.

Browned flour

• Heat the oil in shallow skillet, then add flavor
• Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until evenly browned
• When you smell the flavor, add the chopped garlic, paprika and shortly stir.
Add this to the soup, stirring well. Simmer for 5 minutes, to match tastes.

Prijatno!

Cooking a good tasting meal can be easy and fun in any of our apartments, because they all have a fully equipped  kitchens.
